DxOMark, known for testing smartphone cameras, has released a new ranking of phones with the best battery life in 2024.
Topping the list is the recently launched mid-range Honor X9c, which offers impressive battery performance. On a single charge, it can last 55 hours with heavy use (7 hours per day), 89 hours with moderate use (4 hours per day), and up to 128 hours in power-saving mode (2.5 hours per day).
The Honor X9c also performs well in charging speed tests. It reaches 59% charge in 30 minutes and takes 70 minutes to fully charge its 6600 mAh battery. Priced at $320, the device is currently available in China.
The Oppo Find X7 Ultra and Honor Magic 6 Pro secured second and third places, respectively, in DxOMark’s ranking. Notably, Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max ranked only 40th. Tests show it lasts just over two days on a single charge, with a full fast charge taking two hours.

The Honor X9c features a 6.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2700×1224 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, paired with 8 GB of RAM. The device offers IP65M protection, runs MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, and combines performance with excellent battery optimization.
